Northern BC’s First Annual Week Long Wine Fest…

November is here, and it’s time to start Sip’n!

Here is what is happening on Tuesday, November 1st:

Sip Wine Fest isn’t just for restaurants and pubs.  Local businesses are pairing with British Columbia wineries to host after five socials at their locations.

Where: Coast Inn of the North
770 Brunswick St., Prince George, BC

Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Coast Hotel General Manager, Dave McQuinn, and his team invite you to join them for a complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres at an open house in their ballroom. Take a tour through the newly renovated rooms and enjoy a taste of why the Coast Hotel is a premier hospitality destination in our city.

Winery: Constellation Brands

Merlot and a Movie

Where: Cinema CNC – College of New Caledonia
3030 22nd Ave., Prince George, BC

Time: 7:00pm
Cost: $20.00

Enjoy a glass of wine and a film…about wine. Courtesy of Cinema CNC, Sip Wine Fest takes to the big screen for a live viewing party of Bottle Shock. A 2008 American comedy-drama film based on the 1976 wine competition: the “Judgment of Paris”, when California wine defeated French wine in a blind taste test. It stars Alan Rickman, Chris Pine, and Bill Pullman and is directed by Randall Miller, who wrote the screenplay along with Jody Savin and Ross Schwartz. The California wine and its victory possesses many parallels to the now international award winning British Columbia wine industry. What better way to celebrate this than by raising a glass of one of our two feature wines at the event – The Escapist & The Siren’s Call.
